We are glad to inform you that in 2024, the Value and Quality Award Tender will once again be launched.

The competition will be open until 30 May 2024 and will be open to entries in 45 main categories of products and services covering almost the entire economic spectrum.

Despite the current economic difficulties, the prestige of the Value and Quality Trademark has not diminished. In addition to the Russian-Ukrainian war, which broke out two years ago in February and has continued ever since, the Israeli-Hamas war since 7 October last year has added to the economic difficulties and affected economic life for businesses and consumers alike. Despite this, more and more people believe that now is the right time to certify reliable quality and to use quality marks, as the temporary economic difficulties may give room to traders and profiteers.

CALL FOR TENDER

The Value and Quality Certification Mark embodies and expresses Hungary’s recognition and commitment to certified quality.

The call for tenders will be announced also in March, 2024 for products/services produced and marketed in Hungary or produced in the Carpathian region and marketed also in Hungary which
– are suitable for mass production
– are meeting the highest quality requirements, consumer protection as well as environmental requirements
– are competitive on home and foreign markets
– are made with high quality, environmentally friendly processes
and warranty is provided both to consumers and users by the compulsory and voluntary manufacturers and distributors.

The announcement of the Tender results will take place in a ceremonial setting at the beginning of September 2024, with a wide media interest in the Upper House Hall of the Parliament.
